The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to unveil the results for the UGC NET December 2023 exam, which experienced a delay in its announcement due to technical challenges. Originally slated for January 17, the NTA cited technical reasons for the postponement.
As soon as the results are declared, candidates can promptly view their UGC NET December 2023 scores on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The extensive examination, spanning 83 subjects and encompassing 292 cities, engaged 9,45,918 candidates from December 6 to December 19, 2023.
The provisional answer key was released on January 3, with a brief window for objections until January 5. The upcoming release of results will bring clarity to candidates eagerly awaiting their scores.
Steps to Check UGC NET December 2023 Results:
- Visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in or ntaresults.nic.in.
- Open the activated link for ‘UGC NET 2023 December results’ on the homepage.
- Sign in with your application number & birth date.
- Click on Submit.
- Your UGC NET 2023 December results will be displayed.
- Download the results for future reference.
The initial announcement of the December exam results was slated for January 10. However, a re-exam was necessitated due to Cyclone Michaung affecting Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, prompting a rescheduling. The UGC-NET serves as a crucial test for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for roles like ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in universities and colleges across India.
