The eagerly awaited comedy-drama film “Dream Girl 2” is set to bring Ayushmann Khurrana back to the big screen. Serving as a spiritual sequel to the hit 2019 movie “Dream Girl,” this new installment sees Ayushmann reprising his role as Karamveer Singh, also known as Pooja. The acclaimed actor, who has won a National Award, is currently engrossed in promoting the film, scheduled for release next week. Recently, he delighted fans by sharing a video featuring himself and the original Dream Girl, Hema Malini, on his Instagram.

Ayushmann Khurrana, an ardent admirer of the iconic Hema Malini, took to his official Instagram account to share a heartwarming video with the legendary actress. The video captured the two of them dancing to the tune of the titular song from Hema Malini’s 1977 film “Dream Girl.” Ayushmann expressed his gratitude for the memorable encounter, captioning the video with, “Grateful for this moment! dreamgirl Hema Malini ji thank you for being an inspiration.”

In the video, the 74-year-old actress exudes timeless beauty and grace, donning an embellished peach saree paired with a matching blouse. Her wavy hair, rosy makeup, and exquisite diamond jewelry complete her stunning look. Ayushmann Khurrana, always fashion-forward, dons a multi-color printed jacket paired with a white t-shirt, black jogger trousers, and a statement silver necklace.
The plot of Dream Girl 2
“Dream Girl 2,” directed by Raaj Shaandiilyaa, unfolds in the backdrop of Mathura. The storyline follows Ayushmann Khurrana’s character, Karam, facing significant financial woes. To settle his father’s debts and win the heart of his love, Pari Srivastava, Karam decides to impersonate Pooja, a damsel in distress.
Joining Ayushmann in this captivating tale is Ananya Panday, portraying the role of Pari. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, and more. Produced by the prestigious Balaji Motion Pictures, “Dream Girl 2” promises an entertaining cinematic experience for audiences.
