Basavaraj S Bommai, expressing his deep concern, has strongly condemned the brutal killing of Jain sage Kamakumar Nandi Maharaj in Hirekodi village of Chikkodi taluk, Belagavi district. Recognized for his commitment to non-violence and peace, the sage’s untimely demise is regarded by Bommai as an inhumane act that goes against the principles cherished by society.
Bommai, urging swift action, has called for an impartial investigation by higher authorities to ensure justice is served. The initial investigation has raised doubts, indicating the need for a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding the murder. Bommai emphasizes the urgency of apprehending the main culprits responsible for this heinous crime and ensuring they face severe punishment.
The condemnable act has left a deep impact on both the local community and the broader society. Kamakumar Nandi Maharaj was known for his teachings of peace, compassion, and non-violence, which resonated with people from all walks of life.
