Actress Bhumi Pednekar, known for her roles in films like “Thank You For Coming,” revealed on Wednesday that she has been diagnosed with dengue. Taking to her Instagram, she posted two selfies from the hospital bed, expressing gratitude for waking up feeling better after eight challenging days.
A Selfie and a Warning:
In the caption, Bhumi shared that she had endured a “massive torture” from a dengue mosquito but woke up feeling like a “WOW.” She used the opportunity to caution her followers about the rising cases of dengue, urging them to be vigilant and prioritize their immunity.
Call for Caution and Immunity:
Expressing concern, Bhumi emphasized the importance of mosquito repellents in the current scenario. She advised everyone to boost their immunity, especially given the compromised immune systems due to high pollution levels. The actress recounted the tough days for her family and herself and stressed the necessity of taking preventive measures.
Bhumi’s Recent Projects:
On the professional front, Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in “The Ladykiller” alongside Arjun Kapoor, released on November 3. Before that, she was featured in “Thank You For Coming” with Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi. Her upcoming projects include “Bhakshak,” produced by Gauri Khan, and “Meri Patni Ka Remake.”
