Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed his approval of the Central Government’s interim budget, commending several key initiatives aimed at promoting education, development, and employment opportunities. Kumar’s positive remarks underscore the significance of these measures in enhancing the overall socio-economic landscape.
One notable aspect highlighted by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is the increased allocation for loans in higher education, a move that is expected to facilitate easier access to quality education for the youth. Recognizing the importance of education in shaping the future, Kumar acknowledges the positive impact this budgetary provision will have on empowering the younger generation.
Furthermore, Kumar applauds the government’s commitment to economic development through the establishment of three new Railway Economic Corridors. He emphasizes that this strategic move will contribute to accelerating the country’s economic progress, reflecting the interconnectedness of transportation and economic development.
The introduction of a special housing scheme for the middle class is another aspect that Nitish Kumar welcomes. He notes that this initiative will particularly benefit individuals residing in rented houses and slums, providing them with the opportunity to access housing benefits and improving their living conditions.
In addition, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appreciates the government’s effort to boost industrial development and employment through a one-year relaxation in the tax slab for start-ups. This measure is expected to invigorate the start-up ecosystem, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation.
The budget’s increase in the allocation for the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) is also acknowledged by Nitish Kumar. He anticipates that this move will enhance employment opportunities in rural areas, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of the region.
