The BJP National President, JP Nadda, launched a thought-provoking book titled “Democracy in Coma: Silenced Voices of Women Victims in Bengal” in New Delhi. The event aimed to shed light on the challenges faced by democracy in West Bengal, emphasizing the dire situation prevailing in the state.
“Prominent political leaders, intellectuals, and activists converged at the book launch ceremony, where they collectively voiced their shared concerns about the state of democracy in West Bengal. Shri J.P. Nadda, in his address, passionately discussed the need to address the issues that hinder the democratic process and oppress the voices of women victims in the state”.
The book, ‘Democracy in Coma,’ draws attention to the prevailing lack of democracy in West Bengal. It particularly highlights the struggles faced by women victims and the suppression of their voices. The author painstakingly explores the grave reality of silenced voices, bringing to light stories of injustice, discrimination, and human rights violations.
