Bobby Deol’s acclaimed web series, “Ashram,” has reached a significant milestone, marking three years since its inception. The crime drama series, directed by renowned filmmaker Prakash Jha, revolves around the manipulative exploits of a self-proclaimed godman portrayed by Bobby Deol. As the popular web series commemorated its third anniversary, Bobby Deol took to social media to share some intriguing behind-the-scenes glimpses from the sets of “Ashram.”
Bobby shares behind the scene photos from ‘Ashram’
On Monday, Bobby treated his fans and online followers to a series of unseen behind-the-scenes photos from the first season of “Ashram.” In these candid snaps, the 90s heartthrob flawlessly embodies the character of Baba Nirala. One of the photos captures a moment shared with the director, Prakash Jha.
Among the admirers of “Ashram,” even Sunny Deol’s elder son, Karan Deol, engaged with Bobby’s post, leaving a comment of encouragement. Chandan Roy Sanyal, Bobby’s co-star from the series, wrote, “Japnaam Monty Bobby deol,” playfully addressing his character.
Bobby’s fans enthusiastically flooded the comment section with their reactions to the behind-the-scenes photos. While many applauded his performance in the series, others couldn’t help but inquire about the anticipated fourth season of “Ashram.”
About ‘Ashram’
“Ashram,” headlined by Bobby Deol, boasts an ensemble cast including Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumaar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Tushar Pandey, Anupriya Goenka, and Adhyayan Suman, among others. The series debuted in 2020 on a prominent streaming platform, followed by the release of its second season. The third season arrived in June of the previous year, and there are reports of a forthcoming fourth season as well.
As the web series continues to captivate audiences, the celebration of its three-year journey stands as a testament to its enduring popularity and impact.
