Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, was a box office flop.On Monday, the film had a huge drop in sales and collected approximately Rs 2.50 crore.There was a 50 per cent drop in Sunday collections, and the film appears to be nearing the end of its theatrical run. Liger is a complete washout according to trade reports.
Liger, which was released in theatres on August 25, had a disastrous first weekend in terms of ticket sales. The audience and critics have given the film negative reviews.
Puri Jagannadh wrote and directed the action drama Liger. The lousy screenplay and over-the-top moments have been criticised in the film. In lead roles are Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and Ali.The audience felt that boxing legend Mike Tyson’s cameo was unintentionally funny. Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, and Puri Jagannadh jointly produce Liger.
