At the end of its first week, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s latest release ‘Brahmastra’ saw a further drop in numbers at the box office. A report on boxofficendia.com stated that the film that clocked 6 days at the box office earned Rs 9.25-9.50 crore nett on Wednesday. These early estimates suggest that the film’s total is likely to be around Rs 138 crore nett.
A drop of 15% on Wednesday is still within the range for a big release, which usually sees a bigger drop of over 50%. The film is expected to wrap up its first week at the ticket windows with a business of around Rs 145-146 crore nett, which falls a little short of the Rs 150 crore mark.
