Even though it was a holiday for Janmashtami, Laal Singh Chaddha fell on Thursday again.The collections for the first week are a little over 50 crore nett. The film is being rejected to such an extent that even on holidays the collections are going down.
Laal Singh Chaddha has seen huge recoveries from non theatrical sources which will go to around 180 crore but still the film will suffer heavy losses. 83 post pandemic, this is the second event film to go horribly wrong.
It is far worse than that film theatrically, but Aamir Khan is likely to absorb some of the huge losses commercially, a bit like Shahrukh Khan did in Zero.

Box Office Collection for Day 8
The movie made approximately 1.35 crore in box office collections over the course of eight day.
