Synopsis and Cast:
‘Shaitaan,’ a remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash, depicts a family held captive by a man wielding supernatural powers. The movie stars Ajay Devgn as Kabeer, Janki Bodiwala as Janvi, and Jyotika as Jyoti. R Madhavan’s portrayal of antagonist Vanraaj Kashyap has garnered praise.
Performance Analysis:
Despite a strong opening weekend with collections of ₹15.21 crore on Friday, ₹19.18 crore on Saturday, and ₹20.74 crore on Sunday, ‘Shaitaan’ faced a downturn on Monday. The film aims to reach ₹82 crore in its first week, navigating challenges posed by the commencement of Ramadan, affecting cinema attendance.
