CTET 2024: The CBSE has officially declared an extension of the application deadline for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024), providing candidates with additional time to submit their application forms. Candidates aspiring to teach classes 1 to 8 can now apply for the CTET July exam until April 5, 2024, by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in.
According to the latest update, the deadline for online application submission for CTET-July, 2024 has been extended to 05/04/2024 (before 11:59 PM). Interested candidates can register on the official website ctet.nic.in by the specified date. Applicants encountering any technical difficulties during the application process can seek assistance by contacting 8802580447.
The CTET July exam is scheduled to take place on July 7 in two shifts. Paper 2 will be conducted in the first shift from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while Paper 1 will be conducted in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. It’s worth noting that the CTET qualifying certificate is valid for a lifetime for all categories.
CTET scores hold significance in various educational institutions, including central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), and Central Tibetan Schools. Additionally, schools under the administrative control of Union Territories and unaided private schools also recognize CTET certificates.
Moreover, as per CBSE affiliation by-laws, CTET qualification is mandatory for teachers teaching classes 1 to 8 in schools affiliated with the board. This qualification aligns with the guidelines set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and is also recognized by state governments and local bodies.
