The dawn of the New Year brought not just promises of change and growth but also a celestial triumph as India’s space agency, ISRO, achieved yet another milestone with the successful launch of the PSLV-C58/XPoSat Mission 2024. The achievement was met with applause from none other than Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, who took to social media to extend his congratulations and appreciation.
In a tweet, Gadkari expressed his delight, stating, “The New Year starts with a sparkle! Congratulations! ISRO’s PSLV-C58/XPoSat Mission 2024 elegantly launched, accurately positioning the PSLV-C58 vehicle into orbit. The scripting of POEM-3 is underway.” This message not only conveyed the success of the mission but also hinted at the ongoing endeavors in space exploration, including the scripting of POEM-3, an indication of the ambitious projects in the pipeline.
Gadkari’s acknowledgment didn’t stop there. He went on to commend the dedicated scientists behind this stellar success, attributing such accomplishments to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his own words, “Kudos to our dedicated scientists for this stellar success. Such milestones echo the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi, propelling India to new heights in space exploration.”
The praise from a prominent government official underscores the significance of India’s achievements in the field of space exploration. The successful lift-off and precise placement of the PSLV-C58 vehicle in orbit mark not only a technological feat but also a testament to India’s commitment to advancing its capabilities in the cosmos.
