Vijay Deverakonda is a highly renowned South Indian film industry actor. Vijay Deverakonda was born on May 9, 1989, in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. He grew up in a family of actors, with his father being a TV serial director who quit doing them due to lack of success. He obtained a degree in Bachelor of Commerce. Anand Devarakonda, his younger brother, is also an actor in Telugu cinema.
Early Life and Career
Vijay Deverakonda was interested in acting from a young age. After completing his education, he started auditioning for roles in films and TV serials. He made his debut in 2011 with the film ”Nuvvila”, but it didn’t do well at the box office. He then appeared in a few more films, but it was his performance in ”Pelli Choopulu” (2016) that made him a star.

Pelli Choopulu is a romantic comedy directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam. The film was made on a shoestring budget of just 1.2 crores, but it went on to become a huge success, grossing over 30 crores at the box office. Vijay Deverakonda played the lead role of Prashanth in the film, and his performance was widely appreciated.
2. Arjun Reddy (2017)
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Arjun Reddy’ is a romantic drama. The film was a huge success at the box office, grossing over 50 crores. Vijay Deverakonda played the lead role of Arjun Reddy in the film, and his performance was widely appreciated. He received several awards for his performance, including the Filmfare South Award for Best Actor.
3. Geetha Govindam (2018)
Parasuram is the director of the romantic comedy ‘Geetha Govindam’. The film was a huge success at the box office, grossing over 130 crores. Vijay Deverakonda played the lead role of Vijay Govind in the film, and his performance was widely appreciated. He received several awards for his performance, including the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. The film also starred Rashmika Mandanna, and their on-screen chemistry was loved by the audience.
4. NOTA (2018)
‘NOTA’ is a political thriller directed by Anand Shankar. The film was Vijay Deverakonda’s first Tamil film, and it was also dubbed in Telugu and released in both languages. The film also starred Mehreen Pirzada, and it had a decent run at the box office.
