Charu Asopa, a renowned actress in the industry, has been making headlines this year due to her divorce from Rajeev Sen. Despite the attention their marriage received, the couple finalized their divorce in June and are now co-parenting their daughter, Ziana. Charu has consistently expressed her intention to maintain an amicable relationship with her husband and his family, which includes Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, Rajeev’s sister.

Recently, Charu took to social media to shower praise on Sushmita Sen’s performance in the newly released web series ‘Taali’. The series, which premiered on August 15th on an OTT platform, revolves around the life of transgender activist Shri Gauri Sawant. Sushmita Sen’s impactful portrayal of the activist’s journey has garnered widespread acclaim.
Charu shared a screenshot from ‘Taali’ on her Instagram story and penned a heartfelt message for her sister-in-law, writing, “What a performance Didi, so proud of you! @sushmitasen #hatsoff Got Goosebumps.”
In terms of her own work, Charu Asopa is currently engrossed in filming for the series ‘Kaisa Hai Yeh Rishta Anjana’, where she is portraying a negative role. The actress actively engages with her fans by sharing behind-the-scenes photos, videos, and vlogs from the sets. Her camaraderie with co-stars is evident through playful reels and shared moments of fun on set.
