As winter maintains its icy grip, the northern regions of India are set to experience a continuation of cold-day to severe Cold Wave conditions in the coming days. The meteorological forecast suggests that some parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh will bear the brunt of this chilly spell on the 11th and 12th of January, while isolated pockets in Punjab are likely to witness these conditions from the 13th to the 15th of January.
Uttarakhand is not exempt from the cold snap, with cold day conditions expected to persist on the 11th and 12th of January. Simultaneously, West Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are anticipated to experience a cold day on the 11th of January.
Rajasthan, however, will see a more severe impact as isolated pockets are expected to be under the influence of a severe cold wave on the 11th and 12th of January, with cold wave conditions continuing in certain areas on the 13th of January.
“Isolated pockets in Punjab and Haryana are not spared either, as cold wave conditions are predicted on the 11th and 12th of January. This prolonged cold spell emphasizes the need for residents to take necessary precautions to stay warm and safe amid the harsh winter conditions”.
