In a bid to ensure the safety and security of the state’s residents, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan has stressed the need for robust measures to maintain law and order. He has underlined the significance of taking stringent action against individuals involved in criminal activities, especially habitual offenders, those engaged in heinous crimes, and drug smugglers.
“Maintaining law and order is a fundamental responsibility of any government, and Chief Minister Gehlot’s call for decisive action against lawbreakers underscores his commitment to this crucial aspect of governance. By addressing the issue of habitual criminals and those engaged in grave offenses, the aim is to create an environment where citizens can go about their daily lives without fear and insecurity”.
The emphasis on tackling drug smuggling is particularly noteworthy, as drug-related crimes can have far-reaching social consequences. Stricter measures against drug traffickers can help reduce the drug menace, protect vulnerable individuals, and contribute to overall public safety.
The Chief Minister’s directive serves as a reminder of the government’s determination to uphold the rule of law and ensure the well-being of its citizens. It is also a call to action for law enforcement agencies to redouble their efforts in curbing criminal activities.
“While taking tough action against criminals is essential, it is equally important to ensure that the rights of individuals are protected and that due process of law is followed. This approach not only serves the cause of justice but also upholds the principles of a fair and just society”.
