In a significant move towards enhancing road safety, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, has announced the establishment of a specialized Road Safety Force. This force will play a crucial role in preventing accidents and ensuring safer roads for the people of Punjab.
During an important meeting with officers, the Chief Minister discussed the plans and preparations for the Road Safety Force. Notably, the force will be equipped with 144 hi-tech vehicles, enabling them to effectively monitor road conditions and respond swiftly to emergencies.
Another critical aspect of the force’s development is the finalization of the uniform for its employees. This step adds to the professional and authoritative presence of the force, instilling confidence in the public regarding their commitment to road safety.
The Chief Minister expressed his hopes that the implementation of the Road Safety Force will mark a significant milestone for Punjab, making it the first state in the country to have such a dedicated force. The initiative is expected to have a profound impact in reducing the number of accidents and accidental deaths on the roads.
With the establishment of the Road Safety Force, Punjab aims to proactively address road safety challenges and ensure the well-being of its citizens. By deploying a specialized force dedicated to monitoring and responding to road incidents, the state is taking concrete steps toward creating a safer and more secure environment for motorists, pedestrians, and all road users.
