On the 11th of March, Shri Conrad Kongkal Sangma, the CM of Meghalaya, along with Shri Prestone Tynsong, the Deputy Chief Minister, visited Rashtrapati Bhavan to meet with President Droupadi Murmu. The meeting focused on various issues related to the development of Meghalaya and the state’s progress.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister briefed the President on the progress made by the Meghalaya government in various areas such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and tourism. They also highlighted the unique challenges faced by the state, including the impact of climate change on the region’s agriculture and horticulture sectors.
President Droupadi Murmu appreciated the efforts made by the Meghalaya government to improve the standard of living for the people of the state.
