Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, took to social media to extend heartfelt birthday wishes to his esteemed Cabinet colleague, Dr. Ranoj Pegu. Praising Pegu’s exceptional administrative skills, Sarma highlighted his pivotal role in driving the agenda for the successful implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) and the establishment of 4,000 schools across Assam.
Dr. Ranoj Pegu, an Indian Politician and the current Member of the Legislative Assembly from Dhemaji, assumed office as the Minister of Education and Welfare of Plain Tribe & Backward Classes (non-BTC) on May 10, 2021. Since then, his dedication and commitment to uplifting education and welfare programs for marginalized communities have been exemplary.
CM Sarma expressed his admiration for Pegu’s relentless efforts in advancing educational reforms, acknowledging him as an “administrator par excellence.” He further invoked blessings from Maa Kamakhya and Srimanta Sankardev, seeking good health and a long life for Pegu.
