Assam: In a significant achievement for Assam’s employment landscape, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma revealed that his government has handed over 840 more appointment letters, bringing the total number of job recruitments to an impressive 94,397. This accomplishment not only marks a significant milestone but also surpasses the initial pledge of creating 100,000 jobs.
“Furthermore, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma disclosed that an additional 35,910 posts have already been advertised, demonstrating the government’s steadfast commitment to bolstering employment opportunities across the state. With this latest development, the administration is steadfastly working towards fulfilling its promise of creating a total of 130,416 jobs, exceeding the original target set by a considerable margin”.
The announcement reflects the proactive efforts of the Assam government under CM Sarma’s leadership to address unemployment and foster socio-economic development. By prioritizing job creation and diligently following through on commitments, the administration aims to empower citizens with meaningful employment opportunities and contribute to the overall growth and prosperity of the state.
