CM Mamata Banerjee Announces Enhanced Remuneration for ASHA and Anganwadi Workers

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has declared a substantial raise in the monthly remuneration for ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) and Anganwadi workers, effective April 2024. ASHA workers will now receive Rs. 750 more per month, while Anganwadi helpers will see their monthly remuneration increase by Rs. 500.

Expressing her delight over the decision, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee emphasized the importance of acknowledging the dedicated service rendered by ASHA and Anganwadi workers.
