- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan inaugurated the “Mela Panchang Year 2023-24” office in Samatva Bhavan, developed by the Madhya Pradesh Tirtha Development and Fair Authority.
- The event was attended by the Authority’s Chairman, Makhan Singh Chouhan.
- The “Mela Panchang Year 2023-24” office is intended to offer details about the various fairs and festivals that take place across the state.
- The initiative is expected to promote tourism in the state and help tourists plan their visits to coincide with fairs and festivals.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan inaugurated the “Mela Panchang Year 2023-24” office developed by the Madhya Pradesh Tirtha Development and Fair Authority in Samatva Bhavan. The event was attended by the Authority’s Chairman, Makhan Singh Chouhan. The office will provide information about various fairs and festivals held across the state and will help tourists plan their visits accordingly.
Promoting Tourism in Madhya Pradesh:
Madhya Pradesh is home to several famous fairs and festivals, such as the Kumbh Mela in Ujjain and the Khajuraho Dance Festival. The initiative of the “Mela Panchang Year 2023-24” office is aimed at promoting tourism in the state by providing comprehensive information about the various fairs and festivals & encouraging more tourists to visit the state. This, in turn, is expected to boost the state’s economy and create job opportunities for the local community.
