In a display of solidarity and commitment to disaster relief efforts, Sukhwinder Singh Sukku, CM of Himachal Pradesh, and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi visited the beleaguered community of Krishna Nagar in Shimla. Their presence and assurance of support provided a ray of hope to the residents grappling with the aftermath of a recent calamity.
Sukhwinder Singh Sukku, known for his dedication to community welfare, led the initiative to assess and address the needs of the affected population. Joining him was Priyanka Gandhi, Congress General Secretary, emphasizing the party’s commitment to standing by those in distress.
“During their visit, Sukhwinder Singh Sukku and Priyanka Gandhi interacted with the affected residents, listening to their concerns and witnessing the extent of the damage. They offered words of comfort and provided assurance that comprehensive support would be extended to aid the affected individuals in rebuilding their lives”.
Disaster-affected communities often require immediate assistance and long-term support to recover and rebuild. Sukhwinder Singh Sukku and Priyanka Gandhi’s visit not only highlighted the gravity of the situation in Krishna Nagar but also underscored the unwavering commitment to disaster relief and rehabilitation efforts in the region.
