Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extends warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day, emphasizing the significance of strong and empowered Panchayats in building a prosperous and developed Uttar Pradesh.
In a heartfelt message, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscores the indispensable role of Panchayats as the bedrock of democracy, stating, “For ‘Developed Uttar Pradesh’, fulfillment of the resolve of ‘Developed Panchayat’ is also necessary because Panchayats are the strong foundation of democracy.”
He calls upon citizens to take a solemn pledge towards fortifying Panchayats, making them more resilient, self-reliant, and focused on serving the needs of the people. “Let us take a pledge to make our Panchayat more strong, self-reliant, and people-oriented,” he urges, highlighting the collective responsibility towards nurturing and empowering grassroots governance.
National Panchayati Raj Day serves as a reminder of the vital role played by Panchayats in decentralizing power and ensuring inclusive development at the grassroots level. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s words underscore the government’s commitment to strengthening Panchayats as engines of local governance, capable of driving sustainable development and social progress.
