On the 4th of May Congress President Kharge hit back at Home Minister Amit Shah’s accusations that the Congress party promotes riots. Kharge emphasizes that the people of Karnataka value peace and harmony and will not let the BJP disrupt communal harmony in the state.
Amit Shah’s Accusations
Home Minister Amit Shah accused the Congress party of promoting riots during his visit to Karnataka. He claimed that the Congress party had a history of promoting communal disharmony and riots in the state. His accusations have been strongly refuted by Congress President Kharge.
Kharge’s Response
Congress President Kharge has vehemently denied Amit Shah’s accusations and stressed that Kannadigas are peace-loving people who value communal harmony. He has highlighted the contributions of the Congress party in maintaining communal harmony in Karnataka and accused the BJP of trying to create divisions among communities for political gains.
