“Crew” has stunned the industry with an exceptional performance, exceeding all pre-release predictions by a considerable margin. The film kicked off its box office journey with a whopping ₹10.28 crore on its opening day in India, proving all doubters wrong and showcasing its immense potential.
This remarkable start is even more significant considering the fierce competition the film faced from the Hollywood juggernaut “Godzilla vs. Kong.” Despite this, “Crew” managed to attract a significant audience, aided by the Good Friday holiday.
Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, “Crew” is a Hindi-language heist comedy featuring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon in the roles of air hostesses. Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma complement the ensemble cast with their supporting roles.
The film is a collaborative effort by production houses Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network, led by producers Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit.
With such a strong opening, all eyes are now on the film’s performance over the weekend. The positive buzz surrounding “Crew” suggests that it has struck a chord with audiences, promising a successful run at the box office in the days to come.
