Actor Aamir Khan, who had shifted his base to Chennai in October to be closer to his ailing mother, found himself stranded due to the floods. Images shared by Vishnu Vishal captured Aamir Khan being rescued on an inflatable boat after hours of being stuck.

Public life in Chennai has been severely disrupted as heavy rains continue to lash the city. Aamir Khan’s decision to relocate to Chennai in October, to be near his mother undergoing medical care, underscores the challenging conditions faced by the city residents.

Vishnu Vishal’s Plea for Help: “Water Entering My House”

Vishnu Vishal had earlier posted images of the flooded area, highlighting the severity of the situation. He appealed for help, describing the rising water levels in his house and the challenges faced by the residents in Karapakkam.

Expressing gratitude, Vishnu Vishal acknowledged the efforts of the fire and rescue department and praised the Tamil Nadu government for their prompt response in initiating rescue operations. The actor commended the relentless work of administrative personnel during these testing times.

Key areas in Chennai, including Wallajah Road, Mount Road, Anna Salai, Chepauk, and the vicinity of Omandurar Government Multispecialty Hospital, have been inundated due to the persistent heavy rainfall, exacerbating the challenges faced by the residents.
