A promotional clip from the forthcoming season of Karan Johar’s iconic chat show, ”Koffee With Karan 8”, has taken the internet by storm. This is hardly surprising, considering it features none other than the power couple of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Hosted by Karan Johar himself, the promo video has rapidly become a social media sensation.
Revelations and Laughter
In one segment of the promo, Karan Johar intriguingly asks, “You were secretly engaged.” To this, Ranveer charmingly responds, “I proposed to her in 2015. Before someone else could, I decided to.” Deepika Padukone playfully adds, “Advance booking.” The chemistry between the two is electric, and fans are eagerly awaiting more of their endearing revelations.
A Look at Their Chemistry
Another segment of the video sees KJo asking Deepika, “Would you ever date Rocky Randhawa?” To this, she replies with a smile, “I am married to Rocky Randhawa.” It’s worth noting that Rocky Randhawa is the character Ranveer portrays in the film “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.” When questioned about the actor she shares the best chemistry with aside from Ranveer, Deepika quips, “I think I have amazing chemistry with Hrithik, which everyone is going to see.” Fans are looking forward to witnessing this chemistry in their upcoming film, “Fighter.”
Karan’s Excitement
Sharing the promo video, Karan Johar expresses his excitement by writing, “They are absolutely gorgeous and absolutely at the top of their game…They are the true Bollywood royalty couple! I am so excited to kickstart this season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ with my dearest Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.”
Deepika and Ranveer: A Dynamic Duo
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who got married in a picturesque ceremony in Italy in 2018, have delivered several hit films together, including “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela” (2013), directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Their on-screen chemistry continued to shine in “Bajirao Mastani,” “Padmaavat,” and the sports drama “83.” They also appeared together in the music video “Current Laga Re” from “Cirkus.”
Koffee With Karan 8 Premiere Date
The eighth season of Koffee With Karan is set to premiere on October 26, exclusively on Disney+Hotstar. The seventh season of the show featured an array of prominent stars, from Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, among others. The upcoming season promises even more entertaining and revealing moments with Bollywood’s favorite couple, Deepika and Ranveer.
