Delhi Traffic Advisory for India International Trade Fair 2023: Plan Your Route Accordingly

Trade Fair 2023: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive advisory to manage the traffic flow during the India International Trade Fair 2023 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. As the event kicks off on November 14 and wraps up on November 27, it is strongly recommended that commuters follow the provided guidelines to steer clear of congestion and potential delays.

Traffic Restrictions and Diversions:

To minimize traffic congestion, it is recommended that commuters steer clear of Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, Ring Road, Shershah Road, and Purana Quila Road during the specified dates.

No Halting or Parking Allowed:

Vehicles will not be permitted to halt or park on Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg. Additionally, parking is strictly prohibited on Sher Shah Road, Purana Quila Road, Bhagwan Dass Road, and Tilak Marg.

Opt for Public Transport:

Given the anticipated traffic challenges, attendees of the Trade Fair are strongly encouraged to use public transportation. For Delhi Metro users, it is recommended to exit at Supreme Court Metro Station and access ITPO through Gate number 10. Alternatively, take benefit of the shuttle service for entry through gates six & four. Visitors can also disembark at Mandi House Metro Station and proceed to the venue on foot. For those relying on DTC buses, it is advised to alight at the Mathura Road bus stop for convenient access.

Ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience, adherence to these guidelines will contribute to the overall success of the India International Trade Fair 2023.
