Attention all commuters in Delhi: The Archeological Survey of India (ASI) has initiated repair work near Hanuman Setu, impacting traffic flow in the area. Starting from 04.05.2024, the extreme right lane below Mangi Bridge towards Hanuman Mandir carriageway has been closed to facilitate repair activities.
The repair work is expected to cause congestion and delays, particularly near Hanuman Mandir, during peak hours from 6 PM to 9 PM. To avoid inconvenience, commuters are strongly advised to plan their journeys accordingly and consider alternative routes if necessary.
The closure of the extreme right lane is part of the ASI’s efforts to ensure the safety and preservation of Delhi’s historical structures. While these repair works are essential for maintaining the city’s heritage, they may temporarily disrupt traffic patterns in the affected area.
Delhi Traffic Police personnel will be deployed to manage traffic flow and assist commuters during the repair period. However, it is advisable for commuters to anticipate delays and exercise patience while navigating through the affected area.
In light of the ongoing repair work near Hanuman Setu, commuters are encouraged to stay updated on traffic advisories and plan their travel routes accordingly.
