Many new and old artists are being seen on OTT. Now the name of veteran actor Dharmendra, who is called the Heeman of Bollywood, has also been included in this list. He has made people crazy with his every role, but this time a very different style of the actor is going to appear in front of the audience. Actually, Dharmendra will now appear in the character of a Sufi saint. He himself has shared his look announcing this.
Dharmendra is going to play the role of Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chishti in ZEE 5’s web series ‘Taj Divided by Blood‘. This is a period drama film, in which an attempt is being made to present things related to the Mughal Empire in front of the audience. Now Dharmendra has also shared his luck from the film.
Dharmendra’s OTT Debut:
Dharmendra, who is best known for his roles in blockbuster Bollywood films like “Sholay,” “Dharmveer,” and “Raja Jani,” will make his debut in the digital space with “Taj: Divided By Blood.”
The actor, who has been in the film industry for over five decades, expressed his excitement about his OTT debut in a recent interview. Dharmendra wrote in the caption, ”Friends, I am playing the character of Sheikh Salim Chishti… a Sufi saint in the film ‘Taj’. The role is small but very special. Need your best wishes”. Now, this tweet Dharmendra is becoming increasingly viral. There has been a lot of curiosity among the fans to see him in style.

In this series, apart from Dharmendra, stars like Aditi Rao Hydari, Aashim Gulati, Rahul Bose, Sandhya Mridul, Zarina Wahab, & Tara Shah will also be seen in the characters. Whereas, Naseeruddin Shah will be seen playing the role of Akbar in it. The story of this series is directed by Ronald Scalpello and written by Simon Fantazo. At present, the release date of this series has not been revealed.
