On the 15th of July DK Shivakumar, a prominent political figure and leader, paid homage to the late Bharat Ratna K. Kamaraj on his birthday. K. Kamaraj, an inimitable freedom fighter and the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, is remembered as a visionary leader who left an indelible mark on the education system of India.
Shivakumar, acknowledging Kamaraj’s immense contribution, praised him for his notable initiative, the Midday Meal Scheme, which ensured that no child was deprived of education due to hunger.
