Doctor G had another low day as collections didn’t reach 2 crores. The film has been underperforming since Monday, when it made less than 2 crore rupees.
Although one could have expected some kind of revival during the second weekend, the numbers only got back up to 2-3 crores range on Saturday and Sunday. Anubhuti Kashyap’s film was not well-received by the public, especially during the weekdays. Its now all about how much money the film can make from this point on as Sunday only brought in 1.75 crores.
There will be another dip in numbers today, though not as drastic as the 50% drop that occurred on the first Monday compared to the first Friday. The film may just about manage to hit the 1 crore mark on Monday, considering the Diwali holiday, and that would be some sort of solace for it.
