Down Syndrome Signs : Facts & Experience

Estimated reading time: 4 minutes

Birth, or the process of coming into the world, is a universal experience that has been documented in literature. From Shakespeare’s “To be or not to be” to Virginia Woolf’s “The death of the painter,” it seems birth is something that everyone has some insight on.

The birth of a child is one of the most intense and emotional experiences in a person’s life, no matter how old they are. For some parents, this emotional rollercoaster can cause anger, frustration, and more . but not for everyone.

One couple struggles with the fact that their unborn child has Down syndrome, and have decided to show the world what really goes on behind closed doors during pregnancy. When it comes to Down syndrome, there are a lot of misconceptions about the condition. It’s very common for people to believe that children with Down syndrome are mentally handicapped, don’t speak, and are generally unresponsive in life. While these things can be true for some kids with Down syndrome, some kids with the condition are able to speak and even have a higher level of cognitive functioning than average.

If you’re pregnant and you have a child with Down syndrome, you might want to change the way you think about the condition. Most people believe that children who have Down syndrome are unable to communicate, but that’s not always the case. In fact, with proper education and support, children can learn how to communicate and practice skills needed for life. That’s why many parents with kids with Down syndrome choose to have a special education teacher at school. Not only will your child be able to learn at school, but he or she will also receive useful skills like using a computer.

Education at school is key to an individual child’s success. However, an education at school is also important for parents and people with Down syndrome. Learning new skills helps adults with Down syndrome think more clearly and plan for the future. In order to have a fulfilling life, parents with kids with Down syndrome must also be educated. This is true for parents of children with any type of disability.

Walt Disney’s quote is a great example of parents being proud of their children, even if they are famous. Parents who are not successful feel the need to belittle their children in comparison to other people who have achieved success. This can be harmful to the child and their self-esteem.

When most people think of birth, they picture a painful procedure. But in reality, it’s an act of love. Birth is not only a pretty incredible experience for the person that is giving birth, it’s also an awe-inspiring moment for those that are witnessing the birthing process.
People have been sharing some pretty incredible quotes about birth throughout history. Some say it’s a natural process that should never be forced, while others say that people shouldn’t fear what they don’t understand. All of these quotes demonstrate the beauty of this special moment and just how powerful and important it really is.

In an interview with the Washington Post, author and gynecologist Deborah Coughlin explains that childbirth is much more than a medical procedure. “Instead of calling it ‘birth,’ it should be referred to as ‘our birth.’ It is not just a procedure but a life event, something that we share in together and something that can’t be compartmentalized so easily.”

A Series of Unfortunate Events The accidental arrival of a baby is nothing short of a disaster. But what’s even more disastrous, according to a surprising new study, is for the mother. The study, which appeared in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, shows that women who have a cesarean delivery are at a higher risk for death from all causes. According to the findings, women who have a cesarean delivery live nearly one year longer than women who have a vaginal delivery. That’s bad enough, but the study also found that the longer you stay in the hospital, the higher the risk for death. The longer you’re in the hospital, the more likely you are to be readmitted. And no one wants to be readmitted.

Researchers examined the data of 1,126,282 mothers and babies born between 1998 and 2007, who were tracked until at least December 2014. The study found that women who delivered vaginally had a slightly higher risk for death than women who had a cesarean delivery.
