On 17th of January Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology and Minister of State (Independent Charge) Earth Sciences, said that the Governance reforms introduced by PM Modi provide enabling environment for working women.
Dr. Jitendra said that the Ministry of Personnel, which is the nodal ministry for personnel management, has made concerted efforts to increase the adumbration of women in central government jobs and provide them with a balance between professional and family life.
Special Allowance @ Rs.3000/- per month. Child care grant has been given to women employees with disabilities with effect from July 01, 2022, which will be increased by 25% on a 50% increase in DA.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said, keeping in view the possible emotional trauma caused by the stillbirth or death of the child soon after birth, which has a far-reaching impact on the life of the mother, it has now been decided to give special maternity leave of 60. days to the female employee of the Central Govt. in case of death of the child immediately after birth/stillbirth.
