India’s Minister of External Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar, conveyed heartfelt greetings and felicitations to the Foreign Minister of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, and the entire Government and people of Egypt on the occasion of their National Day. In his warm message, Dr. Jaishankar recognized the historical significance of this day for Egypt and commended the strengthening ties between the two nations.
The Minister acknowledged the momentous visits by President Abdelfattah Elsisi to India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Egypt, which have played a pivotal role in elevating the longstanding partnership between the two countries. These landmark visits have paved the way for a more robust and dynamic relationship, enhancing cooperation in various fields and fostering mutual understanding.
The exchanges between the top leadership of India and Egypt have not only deepened diplomatic ties but also laid the foundation for increased trade, investment, and people-to-people contacts.
