Dr. S. Jaishankar, India’s Minister of External Affairs, recently had the privilege of meeting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh in a cordial exchange that emphasized the importance of bilateral relations between the two neighboring nations. The Minister emphasized the significance of the India-Bangladesh Maitri (Friendship) and underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen ties across various sectors for mutual benefit and regional stability.
The meeting between Dr. Jaishankar and Prime Minister Hasina reaffirmed the shared vision of India and Bangladesh to deepen cooperation in areas such as trade, connectivity, security, and people-to-people exchanges.
