The much-anticipated Bollywood film ‘Dream Girl 2’, starring the dynamic duo of Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, has taken the box office by storm, living up to the immense pre-release buzz. Since its release, the movie has managed to captivate audiences, resulting in a remarkable box office performance that has left industry insiders and fans equally impressed.
Following the widespread anticipation leading up to its release, ‘Dream Girl 2’ has not disappointed. The film’s influence is undeniable, reflected in its impressive earnings at the box office, which has nearly reached the coveted Rs 60 crore mark within just six days of its release.
Six-day collection of the film ‘Dream Girl 2’
The film embarked on its cinematic journey on August 25th, captivating audiences from day one. The initial release week has been nothing short of remarkable, with ‘Dream Girl 2’ collecting a commendable Rs 7.50 crore on its sixth day. This robust performance contributes to the impressive total of Rs 59.50 crore amassed by the film so far.
The box office trajectory of ‘Dream Girl 2’ paints a picture of consistent success. The movie’s earnings within the first six days are as follows: Rs 10.69 crore on the opening day, followed by Rs 14.02 crore on the second day, and a substantial Rs 16 crore on the third day. The film maintained its stride, accumulating Rs 5.42 crore on the fourth day, Rs 5.87 crore on the fifth day, and concluding the week with an impressive Rs 7.50 crore on the sixth day.
‘Dream Girl 2’ Vs ‘Gadar 2’
Interestingly, ‘Dream Girl 2’ found itself pitted against the juggernaut ‘Gadar 2’, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, which added an extra layer of competition to the already high-stakes box office battle. However, the film’s strong response from the audience underscores its undeniable appeal.
