New Delhi: In a significant gesture of appreciation and recognition, President Droupadi Murmu met with a diverse group of participants from the Republic Day Parade 2024 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. This meeting highlighted the rich cultural tapestry and commitment to national service that defines India.
Engagement with Tribal Guests and Tableaux Artists
Among the attendees were tribal guests, who showcased India’s indigenous heritage, and tableaux artists, responsible for the vibrant, storytelling floats that are a hallmark of the Republic Day parade. The President also interacted with National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, and National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, acknowledging their dedication and discipline in shaping a responsible youth force. Furthermore, she met with tractor drivers, a nod to the agricultural backbone of the country, and officials who played a pivotal role in the seamless execution of the parade.
