The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory alerting residents and commuters about potential disruptions and heavy traffic flow in various parts of the city. The advisory comes in light of a planned protest by a political party at DDU Marg, which is expected to cause significant congestion and road closures.
According to the advisory, commuters can anticipate heavy traffic along IP Marg, Vikas Marg, Minto Road, and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg due to the protest activity. Furthermore, DDU Marg itself will be closed to traffic movement, adding to the congestion in the surrounding areas.
In light of these anticipated disruptions, the Delhi Traffic Police urges commuters to avoid the affected routes if possible and to plan their journeys accordingly. Seeking alternate routes and allowing for extra travel time is recommended to minimize inconvenience and delays.
The advisory serves as a proactive measure to ensure public safety and to mitigate the impact of the planned protest on traffic flow in the affected areas. By heeding the advice provided and making necessary adjustments to travel plans, commuters can help ease congestion and ensure smoother transportation during the period of heightened activity.
