A video unveiling the making of an enormous aloo paratha is making waves among food enthusiasts. Shared by the Instagram account “Indian Foodie Boy” on November 29, the undated footage showcases this colossal dish as “the biggest paratha of India.”
The meticulous cooking process unfolds as a skilled chef expertly stuffs the dough with a medley of vegetables, seamlessly rolling it into a flawless circle. Using a rolling pin with precision, the paratha’s surface remains smooth without any imperfections.
The chef proceeds to carefully position the crafted paratha onto a sizzling pan, unfolding it meticulously and guaranteeing thorough cooking by expertly flipping it multiple times. Introducing a creative touch, a makeshift oil brush crafted from cloth and a stick is employed to oil the paratha during the cooking process.
After its preparation, the colossal aloo paratha is elegantly arranged on an oversized serving dish and expertly sliced into triangular strips using a pizza cutter. The impressive display is accompanied by a generous bowl of curd and a variety of chutneys and sauces.
While the video doesn’t specify the restaurant responsible for this culinary masterpiece, the sheer size suggests it’s intended for a group feast.
