The exercise, which is being carried out in the deserts of Rajasthan and engages both contingents to advance special forces skills, such as Sniping, Combat Free Fall, Reconnaissance, Surveillance & Target Designation, sharing of information on weapons, equipment, innovations, tactics, techniques & procedures, is 14 days long.

The participants will also undertake joint planning and exercise for surgical strikes on terrorist camps/ hideouts as well as Special Forces operations in a mechanized warfare setting. This would include sniping of High-Value Targets.

The joint exercise will provide insight into the culture and ethos of both armies, thereby promoting military cooperation and interoperability to further strengthen diplomatic relations between India and Egypt.
