All arrangements will be made at the polling station for the convenience of senior and differently-abled voters.
CEC Rajiv Kumar said that ”home voting facilities will also be available for 80 years and PwD voters with a benchmark of 40% disability.”
Several unique polling stations are being set up, including one in a shipping container, one set up for just one voter, and one on an island in the Arabian Sea close to the town of Jafrabad.
There will be 51,782 polling stations set up across 182 ACs to ensure hassle-free voting.
To ensure an enhanced Voting Experience, 1274 PS stations will be completely managed by women polling and security staff.
For the first time, to motivate young voters, 33 polling stations will be set up and managed by the youngest available polling staff.
Special camps are organised in each district to encourage enrolment.All the information you need to vote informed, including “Criminal Antecedents” of candidates, is available on ECI’s KYC App.
