The Indian film industry is abuzz with excitement as the much-awaited trailer of “Fighter”, directed by Siddharth Anand, is set to release on January 15, 2024. Touted as India’s biggest aerial action film, “Fighter” stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in leading roles.
“Fighter”: A New Benchmark in Aerial Action Cinema
Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, “Fighter” is not just a movie but the beginning of an ambitious aerial action franchise. The film’s announcement in January 2021 generated significant buzz, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused delays in pre-production. However, principal photography commenced in November 2022, with shooting locations spread across Assam, Hyderabad, Jammu & Kashmir, and Mumbai.
Collaborative Efforts and Technical Brilliance in “Fighter”
The film’s production witnessed real-life Indian Air Force cadets contributing to the authenticity of the aerial sequences. The soundtrack, composed by the renowned duo Vishal–Shekhar, features five songs. Satchith Paulose brings his expertise as the cinematographer, while the visual effects are managed by the acclaimed DNEG, promising a visual spectacle for audiences.

As the trailer release date nears, expectations soar high for “Fighter”. The film is poised to set new standards in the action genre, especially with its aerial sequences.
