First National Coal Conclave & Exhibition will be held in Delhi on 16-17 October, 2022.

The first ever National Coal Conclave & Exhibition -2022 will be organized by the Indian National Committee World Mining Congress in New Delhi on 16 & 17th October, 2022.

The event will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Coal and will be based on the theme “Indian coal sector-sustainable mining towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.

The conclave will be addressed by Union Minister of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Pralhad Joshi and Minister of State for Coal, Mines and & Railways Shri Raoshaeb Patil Danve.

The two-day event will provide the right platform for policy makers, public and private sector mining companies, researchers, academics, and other stakeholders to interact and prepare the road map needed for the Indian coal sector to align it with the National Mission of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The three major focus areas of the conclave will be fuel self-sufficiency in the power sector, Aatmnirbharata in steel making for coal, and technology & sustainability.

About 150 students of the mining engineering sector, along with senior functionaries of the ministries of coal, mines, power, steel, and NITI Aayog, are expected to participate in the conclave. The exhibition will showcase initiatives from the coal mining sector for inducing technology, sustainable development, IT initiatives, and best practices in mining safety, etc. The latest technologies and IT-enabled tools used by the Indian coal mining sector will also be on display.
