Fugitive Dawood Ibrahim Hospitalized in Karachi Amid Poisoning Suspicions

In a recent development, notorious underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, mastermind of the 1993 Mumbai blasts and India’s most wanted criminal, has allegedly been hospitalized in Karachi, Pakistan. There are speculations that his hospitalization may be the result of poisoning, although official confirmation from Pakistan is still pending. Dawood Ibrahim is currently under stringent security measures within the hospital premises.

For decades, Indian authorities have asserted that Ibrahim resides in the upscale Clifton area of Karachi. However, Pakistan has consistently denied his presence in the country. Notably, the 1993 Mumbai bombings orchestrated by Ibrahim claimed the lives of over 250 people and left thousands injured.

Adding intrigue to the situation, in January 2023, Ibrahim’s nephew disclosed to the National Investigation Agency that the fugitive crime lord had remarried in Pakistan and is currently living with his family in Karachi.
