Shilpa Shetty has been celebrating the beautiful tradition of Ganesh Chaturthi for many years. Each year, she warmly welcomes Lord Ganpati into her home. This year was no different, as she continued this heartfelt ritual, and she was seen at an idol store with her husband, Raj Kundra. The talented actress, who is eagerly preparing for the release of her upcoming film titled “Sukhee,” looked absolutely stunning in her traditional attire. However, what caught everyone’s attention was Raj once again covering his face with a mask.
On Tuesday Ganesh Chaturthi, the actress took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the celebrations at home. From the photo she shared, it’s evident that the theme for the day was ivory and gold. Shilpa looked absolutely gorgeous in an ivory and gold dhoti sari, beautifully accessorized with traditional jewelry. Raj Kundra was seen in a kurta of the same color palette. Even their children, Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra, were dressed in matching ivory and gold outfits. Shilpa captioned the photo, saying, “Ganpati Bappa Moriya! Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to you all… ‘Sukhee’ Bhava.”
Shilpa Shetty is known to be a devoted follower and a strong believer in Lord Ganpati. She frequently visits the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai, often choosing Tuesdays for her visits. In fact, it was several years ago, immediately after leaving the temple following her prayers, that she made the life-changing announcement about her participation in the UK Big Brother.
