On February 27, 2023, Governor of Rajasthan Shri Kalraj Mishra and Union Minister of State for Culture Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal welcomed President Droupadi Murmu to Bikaner, Rajasthan.
President Murmu was received with traditional Rajasthani hospitality, with a guard of honor presented by the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary and the Bikaner Royal Guards.
The Governor and the Union Minister of State for Culture expressed their gratitude to President Murmu for visiting Rajasthan and appreciated her efforts to promote India’s cultural heritage. They also highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting Rajasthan’s cultural diversity and traditions.
Shri Kalraj Mishra is a veteran Indian politician who has served as the Governor of Rajasthan since 2019. He has previously held several important positions, including the Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in the Government of India. He has been actively involved in promoting entrepreneurship and small businesses in India.
Arjun Ram Meghwal is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament from Bikaner. He is currently serving as the Union Minister of State for Culture and has been actively involved in promoting India’s cultural heritage.
The visit of President Droupadi Murmu to Bikaner was a significant event that highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan and the efforts of the government to preserve and promote it.
