The Bharatiya Janata Party is working hard to win the Gujarat Assembly elections. After giving a lot of thought, this time the party is preparing to field candidates. The party workers of the state will give feedback to the BJP about the performance of the sitting MLAs and the party will decide who gets a ticket based on that.
The party has divided the state into four regions: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Jamnagar. The BJP has deployed observers for each assembly seat who will meet local party workers and influential people supporting the BJP and take feedback on the MLAs.
25 percent of BJP tickets will go to new faces this time, according to sources. The tickets of 25 percent of the MLAs will be cut. BJP is preparing to field a new candidate in 30 assembly seats, including Somnath, according to party sources. BJP lost by more than 10 thousand votes in the last election in these very seats.
BJP’s campaign model and election model are different in Gujarat.
The BJP won 99 out of 182 seats in the 2017 assembly elections. BJP’s campaign model and election model in Gujarat are different compared to other states. Instead of appointing an election in-charge, the party makes the district and assembly effective. Amit Shah and other senior leaders keep an eye on the campaign at the top level.
Amit Shah is currently touring Gujarat for six days. He will return to Delhi on October 27th means Today. Amit shah will attend the meeting of Home Ministers of all the states on internal security in Surajkund. Shah will visit Gujarat again on October 31 to continue the party’s election campaign.
