The Bharatiya Janata Party is working hard to win the Gujarat Assembly elections. After giving a lot of thought, this time the party is preparing to field candidates. The party has divided the state into four regions: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Jamnagar. The BJP has deployed observers for each assembly seat who will meet local party workers and influential people supporting the BJP and take feedback on the MLAs.
25 percent of BJP tickets will go to new faces this time, according to sources. The tickets of 25 percent of the MLAs will be cut. BJP is preparing to field a new candidate in 30 assembly seats, including Somnath, according to party sources. BJP lost by more than 10 thousand votes in the last election in these very seats.
